Endomicroscopy Tutorial Videos

Dear Visitors of the Learning Center for Endomicroscopy. Here you will find tutorial videos that will help you managing and processing your confocal data right. There are four videos available in total. You can download the videos as one package or each one seperately.

Please download install the Xvid Codec free of charge, so you can watch my videos. Or even better get the VLC player, which has all necessary codecs built-in.

Exporting Data in RAW Format

This video tutorial will show you the basics of how to export your data in RAW format using the clinical software. This is best for archiving purposes. I recommend backing up your data once a month.

Exporting Data in Image Format

In order to be able to embed confocal images in your powerpoint presentations or papers, you need to export data out of the clinical software. This video covers how to export data in standard .jpeg format.

Building an Image Sequence

You can build Image Sequences using the Slide Show Movie Maker, a freeware program.

Building a 3D Model

Using ImageJ you can create a 3D reconstruction out of confocal image data.

We are engaged in a research project that aims processing confocal endomicroscopic images and perform computer aided diagnosis. Our medical partners have a Pentax CLE and I believe that the tutorials in your website will be very helpful to us.
